CineFesta Italia Supports Communities In Schools for 3rd Consecutive Year!

April 11, 2018

Communities In Schools of New Mexico is pleased to announce it has been chosen as a beneficiary organization of Santa Fe's annual CineFesta Italia for the 3rd year in a row. Each year, the festival features films, food, and culture to benefit local charities, and showcases the most talked about voices of contemporary Italian cinema.

This year, CineFesta Italia is proud to bring to Santa Fe the films that took top honors on March 22 at the David di Donatello Awards ("Italy's Oscars"), including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress, Best Score, Best Original Song, and Best Costume Design.

The fun begins on Friday, April 20th and continues throughout the weekend with films and other exciting events, such as CineFesta Italia's ever-popular Opening Reception and seminar / tasting event The Liquid Art of the Aperitivo. The competition's Official Selections are FREE to the public and admission to the curated selection of films is $12, or full festival passes are available for $125 and include admission to all films and events. A portion of proceeds are generously donated to Communities In Schools and Cooking with Kids, and are intended to provide support for Santa Fe's children in need. Get your tickets HERE

Be sure to mark your calendars; this popular cultural event only comes around once a year! CIS staff will attend the Opening Reception on Friday, April 20th at 5 pm. Please join us!
